Economic Development

Tillamook PUD offers Community Support Grants to local non-profit organizations with projects that promote economic growth in Tillamook County.    

In March, the Tillamook PUD Board of Directors awarded grants to the following non-profit organizations:

* Tillamook County Commission on Children and Families

* Netarts Community Club

* Peacekeepers Northwest

* Wheeler Business Association

* North County Recreation District

* Tillamook Softball Association

* Garibaldi Museum

* Tillamook County Parks Department

* Rockaway Beach Volunteer Fire Department

* CART'M Recycling

* Watseco-Barview Water District

* Food Roots

* CARE, Inc.

The Board focused on the enhancement of economic development, in addition to community livability, financial need and outreach. Individual grant awards do not exceed $10,000 and are not awarded to the same entity more than twice in a five-year period.
